Cancellations at Galagos Country Estate
Galagos reserve the right to cancel any booking (provisional or confirmed) forthwith and without liability on its part in the event of any damages and/or destruction caused to the venue by fire, acts of God, industrial unrest, and any other causes beyond the control of Galagos, which shall prevent Galagos from performing its obligations. However, in these circumstances, Galagos will make a full refund plus every effort possible with available resources to assist in finding an alternative venue for your wedding. _{Any amount paid may be refunded once the date in question has been rebooked. A 25% handling fee will be charged. Since dates are generally booked a year in advance, and the canceled date is not resold within short cancellation notice periods, Galagos reserves the right to charge the balance of the costs.}

Neither Galagos Country Estate nor its agents or employees shall be liable for any damages or loss which may be caused to any of the goods of the customer, its employees or invitees brought onto the premises for whatever reason, nor for any injury or loss of life of the customer or its invitees howsoever caused. The customer further indemnifies and holds harmless Galagos Country Estate against any claim that may be made against the Company by any third party relating to the provisions of this clause.
All damages occurred to the venue: structural, cutlery, crockery, linen, and furniture will be charged directly to the client (signatory as per the service agreement),

Galagos is also indemnified against claims of breach of the POPI Act by the parties who have inquired about any of the services provided by Galagos. Any client holds the right to request that Galagos does not contact them anymore. Upon request, Galagos will remove their details from databases related to marketing.
